My Christmas Corner
I love creating vignettes in my home.
But when Christmas comes around there's a lot of shifting and rearranging to be done.
It can be a little overwhelming to try to come up with a display.
So I just have to start and work from there.
It always seems to work out. This Santa I made a few years ago as well as the small pillows and stars. They are all coffee-stained for the aged look.
They work well with the old books I found at a thrift shop and an old chair at Habitat for Humanity.
This is a pattern by Chestnut Junction
I just love teddy bears. He's sitting on my old hymn books that I recently found. You can read about them here.
I have little electric candles all through my home. I love the small cozy light that it gives with the large lights off.
All these items on the floor I made. I think the Lil Raggedies are so cute!
They are from a pattern designed by Sweet Meadow Farm.
Mixing old and new, dark and light, worn and torn, hand-made and store bought can offer limitless ways to decorate your home or a corner of your home.
Hope you're enjoying making the little touches to make your home cozy and festive.
Blessings, Diane
