Never Forget...Always Remember!

A very high price was paid for our sin...my sin. The price was paid by Jesus, the Son of God with His blood. He humbled Himself as a perfect Man and endured such horrible suffering. This suffering, done with such a love, provided a way out for us. Gave us eternal life.

May we never forget the price that was paid. May we always remember the love of Jesus for us and that the work of the cross meets our every need.

Have a very blessed Easter weekend!

Sunday Blessing!

Today I did some groceries. I prefer not to do this on Sundays because I like to relax, and there are more shoppers which can make this event a bit stressful. On the way there, I thought that I might stop in at the thrift shop nearby but changed my mind because we have to stretch our nickels right now. (Canada is doing away with the penny.) After doing groceries, I was leaving the parking lot and there was a long line of cars to turn left which is where I needed to go to go home. Instead, I went straight through to take the short cut which brought me near to the thrift shop. So I drove there instead. I know, what about saving my nickels. I was thinking to myself, "Is God wanting me to come here?" Yes you can laugh!! Well I quickly walked to where the dishes were and didn't really see anything. I was on my way out and I glanced over at a display and saw a nice oval dish with a lid. I've started hunting for ironstone lately and it has been fun looking for it. I find a piece here and a piece there. (This is what happens when you follow blogs!!) I looked on the back of the plate and it was indeed ironstone. I thought, "God, you brought me here to find this sweet set and for $4.00!"
This looks round but it is oval!

Ironstone!

God cares about us and He knows all the little details.  He knows how we like to decorate and what we like to collect! AND...He loves to bless us!! Even with small things that we appreciate. You may be feeling like God doesn't care about you right now. But let me assure you my friend, God does care about you. Enough to send His Son Jesus to die on the cross for you. He cares about the little details of your life. Sometimes we have to look to see the little things. And then say "Thank you!!" It may not be an ironstone dish, but it may be a smile from a stranger, or a song from small bird, a glorious sunrise or sunset, or a card from a friend. I pray that you receive a "special blessing" from God this week. He loves you!!
Blessings, Diane
